This is a completely hand made from scratch, 1:8 scale ‘kerbside’ model of the 1949 Ferrari 166 MM #22. The Ferrari 166MM won Le Mans and the Mille Miglia in 1949. #22 chassis 0008M is the only car to win both Le Mans and the Mille Miglia, which makes it a very special car indeed. With the real car being flow into London from America this summer to take part in the Hampton Court Palace Concours de Elegance in September.
With a beautifully hand crafted interior including aluminium dashboard and detailing, leather seats and bonnet straps, exceptional paint finish and fantastic attention to detail. The model sits on a black plinth, with a plaque detailing the car and maker. Covered in a perspex case and a certificate of authenticity from the maker.

Built by Karsten Schmidt, this is a truly stunning model almost 2 foot in length including the case. A wonderful addition to any model collection or as a stand alone centre piece.
