Exoto 1:18 Sauber C9 RLG18190 Works Prototype.

This is the Works Prototype Sauber/Mercedes that lead to the 2nd place at Le Mans in 1989, driven by Baldi/Acheson/Brancatelli. Also qualifying 2nd and leading into the first corner, after several problems including gear selection issues the #61 car managed to come home 2nd, a fabulous achievement.

This superbly detailed model is the high quality and attention to detail you would expect from Exoto with removable front and rear clam shells and opening doors to reveal the Merecedes engine and the cockpit.

The C9 regularly wins the sports/endurance races at historic motor racing events around the world and is widely considered to be one of the all time great endurance racing cars.

This models is now retired by Exoto. This perticular model is pre owned, in as new condition with all original packaging and both outer boxes.
