Ecurie Ecosse Jaguar XK120 1:8 scale
This is a new, completely hand made from scratch, 1:8 scale ‘kerbside’ model of the 1952 Jaguar XK120 entered by the Ecuire Ecosse race team. The car was raced in 1952 by it’s owner Sir James Scott Douglas, in races such as the Reims-Gueux, winning the over 3 Litre class in the British Empire road race in the Isle of Man, as well as being raced in Ireland and Jersey.
The actual car took place in the Ecurie Ecosse celebrations at the 2017 Goodwood Revival
It has a hand crafted interior, leather seats, exceptional paint finish and fantastic attention to detail, including a scale period leather strapped racing helmet. The model sits on a black felt covered base, with a plaque detailing the car and maker. Covered in a perspex case and a certificate of authenticity from the maker.
This is a new model, built by Karsten Schmidt, this is a truly stunning model almost 2 foot in length including the case. A wonderful addition to any model collection or as a stand alone centre piece.
