This is a model of the maserati 250F which was driven by Stirling Moss in the 1956 Grand Prix season and by Stirling Moss and Jaun Manuel Fangio in the 1957 season with Fangio going on to win the 1957 world championship in this car.
the 250F is a legendary Grand Prix car and is shown here by CMC in a very rare finish line condition – being painted showing the dirt, and exhaust soot acumulated during the race and in the livery of the 1957 German Grand Prix at the Nurburgring. This is a stunning model with high levels of detail from CMC with a fabulously detailed engine bay and cockpit.
This is a very limited edition signed by Stirling Moss with only 100 models.
The model comes with all original paperwork and a cetificate of authenticity for the signature and comes with all original packaging.
The actual full size car took part in the parade of Maserati 250F’s at the Goodwood Revival event 12th-14th September as part of the 100 years of Maserati celebrations. The Monza pit was recreated for the event and I have some fabulous framedphotos available soon of the 250f’s at the event.
